The lapel pin on the upper left will be the new 2010 image for our U3 Members. In addition U3 has added new organizers of our newly named U3 Power Hours. U3 Organizers will be identified by the lapel pin on the right. When you come to a U3 Power Hour or to our Monthly Business Bash you will be able to identify Organizers. Our organizers welcome you to speak with them and they will introduce you to surrounding guests.
Faith Based Meaning
For everyone new to U3 we want to convey the significance of our logo to you. Our logo is based on three colors: Black, Red and White. We have a faith meaning to our colors and our image. Black is symbolic for sin of the world. RED is symbolic of the blood Jesus shed for our sins. WHITE is symbolic that our sins can be made clean. We have the number 3 to represent the trinity: Father, Son, Holy Ghost. Then the bottom of the 3 sits inside of the U because the 3 can live inside of U.
Two people networking always have a connector. It might be a friend, an e-mail or an organization. We want U3 to be the connector between two businesses.
U3 has a slogan "Approach. Be Approached." It is to be used for permission based networking. When you see someone wearing their U3 lapel pin, they are giving you permission to hand them your business card.
We have a new design for the U3 lapel pins available in 2010. They will remain the same size but have two new words--" ASK ME!"--underneath the logo. This is to inspire the curiosity of others to ask you about the U3 lapel pin. When they ask you what it means, you can tell them, "I am giving people permission to exchange business cards with me."
